Edge Hill Queensland is a small town with nice people living in the neighbourhood. When we moved to Edge Hill, we never experience difficulty mingling with other people and befriending them. I like the peacefulness, relaxation, and the pleasant atmosphere that it gives me. Everywhere I look at, I see the colours of nature. The blue, green, yellow, and other colours amaze me and make my day colourful. It is added by the fact that our place in Edge Hill is near the mall, shop, school, hospital, and many more. It is not really a question why many people love to move here, and when they get old, they love to retire here. 

Congratulations! Ayesha Green is the winner of the 2019 National Contemporary Art Award for her painting Nana’s Birthday, receiving a $25,000 prize. Her work was selected from 52 finalists by guest judge, artist Fiona Pardington. Read more here.

 

It was weird to look at the composite image of Paul Henry by Hannah Salmon. I read from the SPINOFF that the art award has been long annoying the Waikato and Paul Henry for so many years now. Ayesha Green won the 2019 National Contemporary Art Award for the painting of Nana’s Birthday. The painter received a $25, 000 prize for it. Her work was selected out of the 50 finalists by guest judge, named Fiona Pardington, also an artist. It is not just Nana’s Birthday because it is interesting to note that the National Contemporary Art Award (NCAA) is being held at Waikato Museum annually. In fact, this celebration is in its 20th year.

Many hikers and local townsfolk who are looking for a place to escape from the pressure of life find the Mount Whitfield Conservation Park a great escapade. I enjoy watching birds and their dwellings. This park provides plenty of opportunities for nature based educational and recreational activities. Aside from this, the view is awe-inspiring. It is stunning in every angle. Walks are strenuous, so it is essential to return with an ample time remaining before the dark strikes.
